New partnership agreement with Thammasat University
Strengthening global collaboration in food authenticity research – Bia Analytical partners with Thammasat University, Thailand.
Bia Analytical is delighted to announce a new partnership with Thammasat University, one of Thailand’s leading academic institutions, marking an exciting step forward in global collaboration for food authenticity research and education.
Through this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Bia Analytical and Thammasat University will work together to advance academic, research, and professional development in the field of food integrity. The partnership will create opportunities for student and staff exchange, joint research initiatives, lectures and symposia, and shared innovation across both institutions.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building a safer, more transparent global food supply chain through science and education.
By combining Thammasat University’s academic excellence and research capabilities with Bia Analytical’s cutting-edge food authenticity technologies, both organisations aim to empower future researchers and strengthen industry standards worldwide.
Professor Chris Elliott expressed his delight at the announcement of a new partnership between Bia Analytical and Thammasat University, describing it as an exciting step forward in strengthening food safety and quality across the ASEAN region.

Echoing this enthusiasm, Assoc. Prof. Awanwee Petchkongkaew, Ph.D, lecturer at Thammasat University, emphasised the shared vision driving the collaboration and its potential to unite science and industry for global impact, “Through the partnership between Bia Analytical and Thammasat University (TU), Thailand, we unite academic and industry expertise to accelerate innovation for a safer and more transparent food system, transforming challenges into solutions that enhance authenticity, safety, and confidence in the global food supply system.”
The agreement, signed by Rector Gasinee Witoonchart of Thammasat University and Simon Cole, CEO of Bia Analytical, will remain in effect for five years and is designed to evolve through mutual consultation as new opportunities for collaboration arise.
