Bia Analytical reach regional finals for Investor readiness Competition
InterTradeIreland has been helping small businesses in Northern Ireland and Ireland explore new cross-border markets, develop new products, processes and services and become investor ready for over two decades.
For start-ups and early-stage businesses such as ours, the Seedcorn Investor Readiness Competition is the perfect chance to get ‘investor ready’. The Seedcorn contest mirrors the real-life investment process. This is an exciting opportunity for us as participants, as we are in with a chance to win a share of a €300,000 cash prize fund, a chance to secure expert feedback on our business plan and pitches, improve our investor readiness and gain exposure to investors, all while boosting Bia Analytical’s profile.
The Competition is aimed at independent ventures incorporated on the island of Ireland (Northern Ireland or Ireland) in the seed, start up or early stages of business development and ideally targeting international markets. There are ten cash prizes up for grabs and entrepreneurs compete against each other regionally before competing for the all-island Best New Start and Best Early Stage Company titles.
A selection panel has read and scored each submitted business plan and two other companies have been shortlisted alongside us in our category and have been invited to pitch at the regional final in early November.
Wish us luck with the regional final and hopefully we progress to the next stage where the eight regional winners (four in each category) will be invited back to make their investment pitch to a final panel of judges at the all-island final on 25 November 2021.
